Today in History: October 9

“When they’ve tortured and scared you for twenty odd years

“A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be …”
―John Lennon, “Working Class Hero”

The British film director. He won the Best Director Oscar for “12 Years a Slave.” Very understandable confusion.

Love it, Mark. So cool with the Brian Blessed bit. He is so entertaining in his scenery-chewing (like in the early Blackadder show). I love that about “if you could bellow something at him[Trump].” What a good reporter question. Plus, John Lennon’s birth(day). Say no more.
