The Gad About Town 
One of my favourite witers evers. And the subject of my thesis when he was still an enfant prodige. And generous enough to sit with 24 year old me asking him questions on “The Rachel Papers”. I sent him a letter explaining what I wanted to do and he called me up and invited him to his house. A very nice memory.
